Strategy Officers

TK

Teju Kannan

Teju Kannan is a sophomore at the University of Texas at Austin. She is studying Economics and plans to double major in Finance and pursue a Data Science minor. She hopes to enter the dynamic world of business and develop financial acumen and expertise. Through Inspire Curiosity, she is excited to foster change and inspire students to pursue their academic interests. During her time at school, she conducted research under Professor Weaver, delving into the politics of data and the transparency in international development aid. She is also a mentor for low-income highschool students in local communities where she teaches them foundational business and entrepreneurial skills. She is also a part of the Alpha Kappa Psi fraternity where she pursues her interest in business. Outside college, Teju furthers her passions for tutoring and educational equality through her own charitable business S&T Tutoring, where all profits are donated to charities that support underprivileged communities in building better education systems. In her free time, she enjoys playing pickleball and hiking outdoors. She also loves to indulge in her creative side through art and painting.

Aanay Parikh

Aanay Parikh is currently a freshman at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey majoring in Computer Science and minoring in Economics with a python and java background. This track allows him to pursue his goal of working at a FAANG company in the fintech sector after undergrad. This past year, his classes included Java 111, Figs Seminar Econ, Calc 151, and Exploring Film. At Rutgers he is involved on the Varsity Club Tennis Team and the Cricket team. He has previously taken AP Physics, AP Comp Science, AP Physics, AP German, and AP Statistics. In high school at Hopewell Valley CHS, Aanay led his Varsity tennis team to a sectional state championship win and 3 post season playoff appearances. He won a leadership award for Varsity Tennis in both 2022 and 2023. Aanay captained all years of high school and lettered throughout his time at Hopewell. He was recognized by the German Consulate as a top National German Exam Scorer and earned multiple language honor awards. also inducted into the German Honor Delta Epsilon Phi community. Aanay helped co found and served as VP of the Learn To Be Club which established tutoring chapters across the country to provide education to disadvantaged students and he also volunteer tutored privately. He holds a black belt in mixed martial arts and is fluent in English, Gujarati, Hindi, and German. Now, in his free time you can find him coaching tennis privately, working out, watching crime movies, and going on drives around town.

Fyodor Tenbarge

Fyodor Tenbarge is a sophomore at the University of Chicago. He is studying Economics and Psychology and working towards entering the dynamic and challenging world of high finance. By working with Inspire Curiosity, he hopes to make a difference for students with an exceptional passion for STEM, and provide an outlet for those students to reach the pinnacle of their academic potential. During his first year at university Fyodor served on the Board of Directors for the Cross Cultural Association and the Student Alumni Connection Experience Organization. He spearheaded an initiative to connect younger undergraduate students to graduate students within their desired field to create a more interconnected and cohesive campus environment. He also served on the Public Events Committee of the Financial Management Association to create interactive workshops and networking events for members. Outside of school Fyodor works with the finances of local small businesses to help optimize operations and cut costs for aforementioned businesses. He also works as a part time lifeguard giving swim lessons to older children who have not had previous swimming experience. He is bilingual in English and Russian and holds a Seal of Biliteracy. In his free time Fyodor enjoys playing basketball, exploring the effects of the human mind within the context of business, and spending time with his cat and dogs.

Ayan Pandoh

Ayan Pandoh is a junior at East Brunswick High School in NJ. This year, his stem classes include Pre-Calculus Honors, Physics Accelerated, and other rigorous AP courses. He has previously taken AP Computer Science A, Chemistry Honors, and various STEM classes such as Electrical Engineering and STEM II. He is inducted into the Science Honors Society and the Mu Alpha Theta (Math) Honors Society. Ayan is interested in computer science and plans on pursuing this subject beyond high school. Outside of school, he enjoys watching sports such as football and soccer and working on projects as an iOS and web developer. What he enjoys the most is spending time with his family and friends. His main goal is to make an impact on his community and many others.

Kushi Shah

I’m a senior at Monroe Township High School in NJ. I have taken honors biology, honors chemistry, geometry, algebra 1 and 2, pre calculus, and AP macroeconomics. In this upcoming year I plan on taking honors calculus, honors finance, and a few more business related courses. After school I take part in art club and 3D design club. I also hold the potion of treasure in the 3D design club. Outside of school I take part in bharatnatyam, a classical Indian dance. I have been dancing for 10 years and really enjoy it. In my free time I enjoy drawing and reading book as well as spending time with my friends and family.

Jerry Wang

Jerry Wang, a junior at Hopewell Valley Central High School in New Jersey, he leads several clubs, including founding and being the President of the school's Research Club and (Secretary) of the Medical Club (HOSA). Jerry actively participates in epidemiology, anatomy, and psychology science Olympiad and HOSA competitions, as well as courses like Calculus 2 provided by Syracuse University, AP Chemistry, and AP Physics 1. Outside of school, Jerry plays tennis and enjoys exploring his culinary skills. He also volunteers at the Trenton Regional Medical Center's ER department.

She is interested in the biological sciences and especially holds an interest in psychology, nutrition and zoology. Maria wants to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. She is a president of the International Animal Welfare Club at her high school. She is in HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) and Learn to Be, where she is an English tutor. Outside of school, Maria likes to hang out with her cat and listen to music. She is a singer and has been doing vocal lessons for 4 years. She has also been in choir for 6 years. Marina Sugrue

Marina Sugrue is currently a junior at Hopewell Valley Central High School in NJ. Her STEM classes this year are AP Statistics and AP Calculus BC, and she has taken several other rigorous courses throughout her academic career. Marina holds the position of Secretary in the HOSA club, and is one of the two acting presidents of the Historical Humanities and Operation Smile Club. She also participates in other clubs, such as Science Olympiad, Ted Ed, FBLA, and more. Last year she hosted Classroom to Community Night, a combination of a club fair and the award ceremony for the Presidential Volunteer Service Award. Outside of school, she is the State Officer Parliamentarian of NJ HOSA and a dedicated volunteer of Capital Health. She is also on track to be EMT certified. She has a passion for science and hopes to continue her studies in the medical field as a future healthcare professional.

Vikrant Ramesh

Vikrant Ramesh is a freshman at Hopkinton High School in Massachusetts. He is an active participant in the school's science fair and robotics team, demonstrating a strong interest in pursuing a career in STEM and engineering. Beyond academics, Vikrant engages in basketball and track during the school year and enjoys playing cricket in the summer. While Vikrant dedicates most of his time to his robotics team, he also enjoys playing chess and spending time with friends.

Pranad Guntireddygari

Pranad Guntireddygari is a junior at Hopkinton High School in MA. His past STEM classes in school include AP Biology and AP Computer Science Principles and many accelerated math classes. This year, he is taking AP Chemistry and AP Statistics and accelerated pre-calculus. In school, Pranad is a member of HOSA and science olympiad. He also volunteers at his public library, at a local nonprofit, and at a hospital and also takes part in many service projects. Previous student ambassador to educators learning the invention education process in a program sponsored by the NSF PAEMST program, USPTO, and Lemelson-MIT. He is also an aspiring eagle scout with many positions of leadership in his boy scouts troop and he runs cross country and track and field on his school team. In his free time, Pranad loves to bike, play basketball, watch movies, listen to music, and spend time with his family.

Grishmaa Chaudhary

Grishmaa is a junior at East Brunswick High School in New Jersey, where she is actively pursuing her passion for science and technology. Her academic journey includes coursework in Biology Honors, Geometry with Trigonometry Honors, Chemistry Honors, AP US History, and AP Computer Science Principles. She has also completed STEM I/II and Intro to Computer Science classes. For the 2024-2025 school year, Grishmaa is set to take courses in Physics, Molecular Biology, and Pre-Calculus Honors, with plans to self-study AP Biology and AP Psychology. Being a member of her schools Model UN team, she has also attended multiple conferences. She aspires to further her interest in medicine. This summer, Grishmaa was accepted into a prestigious week-long science camp at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) and will also participate in a research program on molecular biology and bioinformatics at Rutgers University. Beyond academics, she contributes as a web developer and helps raise funds for a non-profit organization dedicated to improving educational opportunities for underprivileged children. In addition to her academic and professional pursuits, Grishmaa is a dedicated professional dancer with 11 years of experience, having won various competition awards. She also enjoys rollerskating, playing sports such as tennis and badminton, and spending quality time with her friends and family.

Gargi Patel

Gargi is a junior at East Brunswick High School in New Jersey. She has previously taken honors classes in both math and science such as Biology Honors, Geometry with Trigonometry Honors, and Algebra I Honors, as well as classes in STEM and woodworking. This year, she is taking Chemistry Honors and Algebra II Honors. She finds great interest in topics relating to astronomy, biology, and chemistry. Additionally, Gargi has been a member of Girls Who Code for the past two years. She also enjoys playing soccer and has been playing for the past five years. She can be found reading, baking, and spending time with friends and family in her free time.

Dhiya Selvakumar

Dhiya Selvakumar is a sophomore at Bridgewater Raritan Regional High School. She has taken a variety of STEM related classes such as Honors Biology, Honors Algebra 2, and AP CSP in her freshman year. This school year, she is diving into Honors Chemistry and Honors Precalculus. In school, Dhiya has been a part of many STEM related clubs such as HOSA and Waksman at BR. She currently holds the secretary position in Women in STEM, and likes to spend her time tutoring young kids in math and english outside of school. Other than STEM related activities, Dhiya is an avid member of her school’s cross country team, and has placed in a variety of her meets. She has an ambition for the arts, and is continuing her choral journey through a selective program at school. In addition, Dhiya has been in Indian classical dance from age 6, and recently completed her graduation from the art form in early June.

Aileen Zhang is a sophomore at Hopewell Valley Central High School. She's passionate about the issues of healthcare accessibility issues, participating in the FoHVOS internship about food insecurity and redlining as well as being the president of the SupportHer club. This summer, she participated in the Capital Health volunteer program for a hands-on hospital experience. In her spare time, she loves reading, drawing, watching movies, and eating cookies in no particular order. She has played tennis for 6 years and is third singles.

Julia Yu

Julia Yu is a sophomore at Hopewell Valley Central High School, Pennington New Jersey. She actively participates in the Robotics club, playing a substantial role in Spike 293’s involvement of the FIRST Robotics Competitions. She also holds the position of Secretary in her school’s Research Club, and is one of two acting Presidents of the Historical Humanities Club. Beyond the classroom, Julia volunteers at the Trenton Regional Medical Center OR department, assisting staff with organizing material and keeping track of what is safe for patient usage. She hopes to continue her studies in the medical field, and she aspires to become a healthcare professional. Extracurriculars include involvement in her school’s tennis team, and her love for the violin and flute. In addition and as an enjoyer of the arts, Julia can frequently be seen creating sketches, paintings, knits, and the like.

Nancy is a junior at Hopewell Valley Central High School in NJ. She excels in mathematics, currently taking rigorous courses such as AP Calculus AB and AP Statistics. She is also passionate about art, being in both the art and crochet club. Last year, she scripted and illustrated multiple panels of a safety animation for her school's robotics team, as well as designing the team's t-shirt. Additionally, Nancy is a member of HOSA, participating in a fundraising event last year. She volunteers at Mercer County Library, preparing crafts for young kids.

Emily Suh is a junior at Hopewell Valley Central High School in NJ. She is currently taking multiple APs such as AP Calculus BC, AP Language and Composition, APUSH, and AP Research. She is also the founder of the astronomy club at school. At school, she partakes in clubs including FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America), and Science Olympiads. Plus, she is involved in her school's sports teams and is currently on the varsity tennis team. Outside of school, she is involved in a variety of activities. She takes weekly ballet and pointe classes. In her free time, she loves playing tennis and piano. She has a passion for science, especially anything astronomy related. Khushvir is a senior in high school. She engages in a number of clubs, such as SWIS (Strong Women in Science), social justice, and debate. Her favourite subjects include biology and chemistry. Since her first year of high school, Khushvir has competed in the HOSA (Future Health Professionals) competition, in which she took first place provinically in Clinical Nursing. She participated in the international conference in 2021 as well. She volunteers in a number of peer tutoring initiatives and also provides private tutoring to young children. Outside of school, Khushvir enjoys reading, swimming, hiking, and spending time with her loved ones.

Megna is a freshman at St. Stephen’s Episcopal school in Austin. This year she’s studying geometry and biology. In the future, to advance her STEM education, she will be studying advanced chemistry and engineering. Megna was a member of her schools National Junior Honor Society, as well as an award winning member of her schools FTC robotics team. She is also a high honors student. Outside of school, Megna enjoys playing basketball, running, and spending time with friends.

Richard Thomas

Richard is a senior at Fairfax High School in Virginia. His STEM classes this year are Multivariable Calculus/Linear Algebra, AP Environmental Science, AP Physics C: E&M, and CS Capstone AV. Other STEM classes he has taken are AP Calculus, AP Statistics, Advanced Computer Science AB (Data Structures), AP Computer Science A, AP Physics C: Mechanics, and STEM Design. His favorite area in STEM is technology especially in the computer science field. Richard is an inducted member of the Computer Science Honor Society club and a software/engineer lead on the school robotics team. The robotics team plans events and camps for younger students to be exposed to robotics and coding. Other than STEM activities, Richard loves to play soccer and volleyball. He has been playing soccer since he was 7. He also loves to help out his community.

Henry

Henry is currently a junior at Patriot High School in Virginia. He has participated in many STEM activities and classes, from doing Robotics since 5th grade to taking STEM-related classes such as AP Computer Science Principles and AP Computer Science A. He has also taken Project Lead the Way's Intro to Engineering/Design and Principles of Engineering. In school, Henry is a member of his school's various clubs such as the Medical Club, National Honor Society, National Science Honor Society, Key Club, and Pioneer Ambassadors. Outside of school, Henry loves to play soccer and pickleball. One of his favorite hobbies is playing the guitar. He has previously worked at Kumon for over a year and loves teaching younger kids. Currently, Henry is a researcher working under Dr. Sanchez on Alzheimer's Disease. He is also the Head Cashier & Food and Beverage Supervisor at his local waterpark. Not only that, but his favorite thing to do is hang out with his family and friends.

I am Erick Aloise Josue, a seasoned professional with seven years of dedicated service Kakuma Refugee Community. Currently working as a Founder and CEO at Rescue Wing International and Protection Monitor at Danish Refugee Council, I bring a wealth of experience garnered from diverse roles, including a managerial position at Youth Refugee Assistance Project(YRAP) and working as a Community Business Worker at Action Africa Help International (AAH-I).

Allyra Melan S. Macaisa

Allyra is in Grade 11 and currently in senior high school at the Prince of Peace Integrated School Inc. She is a HundrEd Youth Ambassador and a young innovator who has been involved with the Global Innovation Field Trip and Invent Future.Global initiatives for the past 3 years. She loves animals especially cats and dogs and has actively worked on fundraising and advocacy projects for our local dog shelter.  She is also a crafter, baker, crochet artist, and harpist.
