Why STEM?

Simply put, STEM education is the teaching of science, technology, engineering, and math. However, we believe that STEM is more than that. In its distilled form, the STEM curriculum not only promotes critical thinking and problem solving but also gives students opportunities to collaborate with others and develop crucial teamwork skills - assets that will last students a lifetime. Kids will be able to experiment in a fun and supportive environment where failure is emphasized as a learning experience. Students will build resilience and determination - two priceless strengths in life. Kids will also learn how to develop unique and creative solutions as they participate in design challenges to solve complex problems, and will become more familiar with technology as they grow up in an increasingly tech-centered world.
